Roles & Permissions

Understanding who can do what in a team

Teams have a clear hierarchy that determines who can manage settings, create challenges, and invite new members.

The three roles

shield_person

person

Member

Admin participation toggle

As an admin, you can choose whether to participate in leaderboards and analytics. If you're managing a team but don't want your practice to affect the rankings, you can toggle off participation. You'll still be able to see everything and manage the team.

Promoting members

Admins can promote any member to moderator, and any moderator to admin. Choose people you trust to help manage the team.
