Account Management

Your account is yours to control. If you need to take a break, leave WiseWorld, or recover an inactive account, here are your options.

Account deactivation

Deactivation is a temporary pause:

• check_circleYour profile becomes invisible to others
• check_circleYou won't appear in search or connections
• check_circleYour data is preserved
• check_circleYou can reactivate anytime by logging in

This is a good option if you're taking a break but might return.

Account deletion

Deletion is permanent. When you request deletion:

• check_circleA 30-day grace period begins
• check_circleYou can cancel deletion during this period by logging in
• check_circleAfter 30 days, your account is permanently deleted
• check_circleAll personal data is anonymized or removed
• check_circleThis cannot be undone

Immediate deletion

If you want to skip the 30-day grace period, you can request immediate deletion. You'll need to confirm by typing 'DELETE'. This is instant and irreversible.

Reactivating your account

If your account is deactivated (not deleted), simply log in to reactivate it. Your data and history will be restored.

If deletion is pending (within the 30-day grace period), logging in will cancel the deletion request and restore your account.
