Program lead journey
Design → publish → invite → measure
As a program lead, you design the experience that participants follow. This guide walks through the full lifecycle of running a soft skills program.
1. Design your program
Create a workspace
Choose the type that fits: people development for teams, recruitment for hiring, or personal development for individual coaching.
Choose your roadmap type
Talent evaluation starts with a reference profile. People development starts with a goal. Complete program starts with a goal and mixes both assessment and practice.
Set the starting point
For talent evaluation: create a Reference PowerWheel from a role description. For learning or complete programs: write a clear goal sentence. The AI builds the entire path from this input.
Review and edit the draft
Wise generates seasons and steps. Rename, reorder, add, or remove steps. Attach reference documents to individual steps if needed.
Publish
Publish when the roadmap is ready. Members can start following the path. You can edit and republish later.
Recruitment shortcut
In recruitment workspaces, the flow skips the type selection and goes straight to creating a reference. The assessment type is assumed since the goal is evaluating candidates against a role profile.
2. Launch your program
- check_circleGenerate invite links - workspace-wide or roadmap-specific
- check_circleSet member roles: assign admins to help manage, managers to track progress, or keep everyone as members
- check_circleConfigure credit limits per person (daily and monthly caps)
- check_circleFor recruitment: disable social connection prompts to keep the experience focused
3. Monitor and manage
People analytics
See team-level skill coverage, identify gaps, and track trends over time. Filter by tags or departments.
Roadmap progress
Track which members have completed which steps. See who's active and who needs a nudge.
References & comparisons
Compare individual PowerWheels against the role profile. Get AI-generated insights on fit, gaps, and growth areas.
Credit usage
Monitor spending across members, set limits, and purchase more when needed.
4. Iterate
- check_circleEdit the roadmap and publish updates - members get the latest version
- check_circleCreate roadmap sequences for multi-program journeys
- check_circleUse version history to compare changes over time
- check_circleAdd child workspaces for departments or regions with shared credit pools
- check_circleUse workspace chats (AI or team) for coaching conversations
Hiring vs development
Recruitment workspaces hide some social features from candidates and focus on assessment. People development workspaces show leaderboards and community features. Choose the right type at creation.
