Reference PowerWheel

AI-generated skill profiles from job descriptions

A Reference PowerWheel (RPW) represents the ideal skill profile for a role or position. Instead of manually defining what skills matter and at what levels, you can let AI analyze a job description and generate the reference automatically.

Generating an RPW

To create a Reference PowerWheel:

  • check_circleOpen your benchmark and click 'Generate Reference'
  • check_circlePaste the job description, role requirements, or any text describing the ideal candidate
  • check_circleWise analyzes the text and maps requirements to the 44 WiseWorld skills
  • check_circleReview the generated RPW and make adjustments if needed

Better input, better output

The more detailed your job description, the more accurate the RPW. Include required skills, responsibilities, and behavioral expectations for best results.

Using a member as reference

Alternatively, you can set an existing team member as the benchmark reference. This is useful when:

  • check_circleYou have a top performer you want others to learn from
  • check_circleYou're looking for candidates similar to a successful team member
  • check_circleYou want to compare team members against each other

Match rate calculation

Once a reference is set, match rates are calculated automatically using cosine similarity. This compares the angle between skill vectors rather than raw differences, providing a more meaningful similarity score.

Refreshing data

Member PowerWheels are captured as snapshots when added to a benchmark. Use the refresh feature to update snapshots with members' latest skill data.
