Learning Episodes
Practice specific skills through focused scenarios
Learning episodes have target skills-typically 1-3 specific skills you'll practice. These target skills are what you need to use effectively to reach the defined goal of the episode.
Unlike assessment episodes where all 44 skills are observed, learning episodes focus only on your target skills. Wise evaluates your performance exclusively on these target skills-not everything you say, just how well you apply the specific skills needed to achieve your goal.
How it works
Each learning episode has a goal you're trying to achieve. As you interact with the characters, you use the target skills as your tools to get closer to that goal. Wise gives you real-time feedback, showing you how each interaction moves you closer to (or further from) success.
Focused practice
If you're working on 'giving difficult feedback,' you'll be in a situation where someone needs to hear something they don't want to hear. The episode is designed around that specific skill.
If you're working on conflict resolution, you won't get an episode about project planning. You'll find yourself in a situation where two people disagree and you need to help them find common ground.
Getting unstuck
Sometimes you'll face a moment where you genuinely don't know what to say. That's okay-and it's actually valuable. You can request a hint that guides your thinking without giving you a script.
There's no shame in using hints. Real learning often happens right at the edge of what you know how to do.
Real-time progress
You don't have to wait until the end to know how you're doing. Wise gives you real-time scores only for your target skills, showing how each interaction moves you closer to (or further from) your goal.
At the end of the episode, your Learning PowerWheel gets updated based on your performance. This tracks your growth across all the skills you've practiced in learning episodes.
