Understanding Your Skills Profile
How we identify patterns in your interactions
Most people have a rough sense of their strengths and weaknesses. But self-perception is often wrong. We think we're good listeners when we interrupt constantly. We believe we're clear communicators when people leave confused.
The assessment in WiseWorld doesn't ask you what you think you're good at. It watches what you actually do in conversations and finds patterns.
What gets measured
Every response you give is analyzed for evidence of 44 different skills across six areas:
How you communicate
Listening, expressing yourself clearly, persuading, negotiating, reading social situations, building relationships, handling disagreements
How you work with others
Collaborating, coordinating, developing people around you, sharing responsibilities
How you lead
Taking initiative, coaching others, setting direction, making decisions, holding yourself and others accountable
How you approach work
Managing time, following through, paying attention to details, bouncing back from setbacks
How you think
Thinking critically, learning from experience, adapting to new situations, generating ideas
How you solve problems
Analyzing situations, making judgments, thinking strategically, finding creative solutions
How scores work
Each skill is scored from -1 to +1. Negative scores mean there's evidence you struggle in this area. Positive scores mean you're demonstrating strength. Zero means we haven't seen enough yet.
The more you practice, the clearer the picture
Early scores are rough estimates. As you have more conversations, the assessment gets more accurate and nuanced.
